Door prizes went to Mike Marl, Ron and Carol LaVerne, Mike Hutnik, Veronica Maynard, and Scott and Mindy. After a short business meeting, we went on a group ride into pierce county led by Dan Stockinger. Good ride, Dan. Group did well on this one. Sorry, no pics of the ride.
Spokane Veterans Home Visit 2017
We had a Great Visit with the Veterans in Spokane on Sunday, July 9th. 0900 on Saturday 8th, Myself, Sherry, Ron, Carol, Jim C., Steve and Dan S. gathered at Hawk's Prairie for for the ride to Spokane. Steve, Dan and Jim on bikes and Ron and I in cages. It was a good trip over maybe a little warm for those on bikes. We arrived at the Black Bear Motel in Davenport to find nice clean, western themed rooms waiting for us. A good nights sleep and Sunday we head over to have lunch and visit with the vets. The vets were waiting for us and conversations were plentiful . See Pictures on our members page. After several vets came outside to see the bikes, we headed for home, feeling warm and fuzzy for having had the visit.

2018 PicNic at VP McLendon's
We had a good showing on Saturday at VP Dan's for our ride season opening Picnic. After a good feed, A surprise presentation to President Jesse was made by VP McLendon on behalf of the chapter members of an appreciation plaque for years of service as president. Presentation was a complete surprise to Jesse as seen in the photos
which include the ride after the meeting. We rode down through Indepedance Valley to Galvin and then to the Main Street Cafe in Cetralia for Desert. Thank you Mike Hutnik for a great ride. Pictures of the plaque are included for those that were not present and may not have seen the plaque in advance. Please accept my sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to each member for such an overwhelming surprise. I truly enjoy my time with the members and doing whatever I can to support the chapter, members, and the Blue Knights.
